The COED Student Ambassador Program is an opportunity for students to act as liaisons between Team Vyral and their universities. These ambassadors:

  • Create editorial and social content around his/her university.
  • Plan and host fun events on campus.
  • Act as a campus contact for Team Vyral teams.
  • Help Teamengage and better understand each university’s culture.

Ambassador requirements

Ambassadors are trendsetters enthusiastic about college life and involved in their school communities. They have majors from Communications, to Fashion Design, to Business, to Sports Administration! COED Student Ambassador have the opportunity to enhance their professional development, leadership, social, and communication skills, and have his/her content published across our network of sites. Plus, there’s tons of cool swag!

An ideal Student Ambassador is:

  • Socially outgoing and active at his/her university
  • Enrolled in full-time undergraduate/postgraduate study
  • Available 10 hours per month to spend on Team Vyral evangelist work
  • Familiar with Team Vyral sites including but not limited to COED.com, BustedCoverage.com, and CollegeCandy.com.
  • Involved with student organizations and activities

CollegeCandy.com is seeking interns for the fall semester. The ideal candidate is passionate about writing, responsible, witty, knowledgeable of all things pop culture, social media obsessed, and a great understanding of deadlines.

Intern responsibilities include writing (lots of it!), research and various tasks in marketing. This is NO boring internship; you will not be getting or making coffee (unless it’s for yourself). Interns will walk away with clips galore, great stories and an increased knowledge of writing for the web.

The position is unpaid, but college credit can be earned. We would prefer our interns to be able to go to the NYC offices 2-3x a week, but we will not turn down a qualified applicant who isn’t in the NYC area.

Forget getting coffee, because you’ll be directly responsible for helping us grow our already impressive social media channels (100,000 Facebook fans for COEDMagazine…what!?). Daily tasks will include updating our various Twitter accounts, submitting article to Reddit, creating social news updates creating Facebook albums and basically everything else you do when you’re procrastinating doing your work. The ideal blogger will bring an authoritative understanding of one or more of these topics, yet still be able to write with the humor and levity readers expect from a male lifestyle website.

Duties include:
– Pitch and write between 1 – 10 posts per week
– Must be on the cutting edge of his or her specific field and willing to provide quick turnaround on topics that are trending
– Must be able to find content and write in a style that appeals to men ages 18 – 35
– Willing to foster discussion about these topics through comments and social media
